Victoria's Minister for Small Business, the Hon. Joe Helper MP, the Federal Member for Calwell, the Hon. Maria Vamvakinou MP, and the Mayor of the City of Hume, Councillor Jack Ogilvie, will be VIP guests at a birthday function to be held at the company's premises at Unit 1- 11 Lindaway Place, Tullamarine on Thursday 30 April, at 10.30am. The 100th millionth magnet is part of a recent order by Jim's Mowing franchisee Dean Treloar of Traralgon, and Minister Helper will be making a special presentation to Mr Treloar to mark the occasion. Established in 1989, Mister Magnets is now Australia's largest manufacturer of promotional magnets, producing more than 12 million fridge, business card, calendar and other magnet products from its Tullamarine plant every year. Mister Magnets works with companies around Australia to help them raise their brand awareness and promote their products and services on promotional magnets that can be stuck to fridges, filing cabinets, computers, white boards and even cars. Its 30,000-plus client base is as diverse as the magnets it produces, ranging from small one-person businesses through to the very largest companies in the country, including ANZ Bank, BP, McDonald's, BMW, Pizza Hut, Goodyear, AMP, Telstra, Dick Smith and Jim's Franchisees.
