Tiny town rallies to support Toodyay bushfire victimsThursday 14th January 2010 | 2:32 PM« Back to Listing"Hell's Bells" will perform with the support of "Lunchbox All-Stars", and "Snake Eyes" in Alpha Street Ballidu, to raise funds for the Toodyay bushfire victims. Roger Harrod (one of the organisers) said "Devastating bushfires can happen at anytime, anywhere and Australians often pull together to support those less fortunate. This is such an event that we are calling upon the support and generosity of the West Australians to come to the concert". Gate takings will go directly to support the Toodyay bush fire appeal. Camping and caravan facilities are available, so pack your swag. Food vans will be in location. There will be a licensed area, and alcohol free zones. Ballidu is a town of about 100 residents, in the wheat belt between Wongan Hills and Dalwallinu, about 2 hours drive N/E from Midland.
