With 67% of all small business in Australia being run as a home based business, it stands to reason that it would be economically and politically sensible to support and encourage them. Most look to Government for support. However there is an exciting trend occurring whereby the home based business sector is supporting each other.

A new website has emerged - but it is not just another website. http://www.homebasedbusinessaustralia.org/ not only supplies information it also has an online Members Directory, and these members can offer their product and services for sale from this website. Sales already began taking place while the website was still being built.

To celebrate the launch of the websites over 30 home based business members donated product and services as prizes for anyone participating in the launch. These prizes are valued at over $10,000 and most are available to everyone who participates, while some will be won from a draw.

"This is a great example of home based business operators supporting each other" comments the founder, Barbara Gabogrecan. "This community of businesses are caring and generous; it is one of the reasons why the sector is so huge, clients love their attitude."

The website jumped to a Google page ranking of 4 immediately and there has been nearly a 200% in growth of visitors this month.

The Launch begins on Monday 25th January and finishes on Friday 29th January. That gives everyone 5 days to take part and collect their prizes. And it is pretty simple to take part. Just visit http://www.homebasedbusinessaustralia.org/ and follow the links.
