« Back to Listing
The Upsonic Power surge and spike protected power board with 8 socket outlets on the rear panel, is designed to power down 5 of these outlets when peak power is not required, thus saving energy and contributing to a reduction in global warming.

The Power board is designed to fit with Home Theatre Audio Visual Components being in high gloss black with a gentle curved front, housing a Blue LCD screen displaying the power consumption in Watts, with two imbedded red system integrity indicator lights.

There is a main On/Off switch located on the end with the 90 Degree swivelled power input cable; the other end has facility for RJ45/RJ11 phone modem protection.

There is also facility for protection from surges and spikes damaging components by entry from aerial and satellite dish signal sources.

All socket outlets are located on the back plane of the power board to assist with convenient and orderly "cable control".

The power board offers 3672 Joules of protection with a response time of less than 1 Nanosecond.

Of the 8 socket outlets, 3 are normally power on and 5 are power on with a signal from any I/R remote controller. The 5 socket outlets will then power off when the load is reduced by about 75 watt and a period of grace of about three minutes has expired.

There is always a number of Home theatre A/V components that when not required are running in "Stand By" mode consuming power. By switching power off from these components when not required there is a real saving in terms of dollars and the environment.

This power board provides a very user friendly means of achieving this and re-activating them when required by use of any I/R remote control.

The Power board model number SG8AV is available from Upsonic Power Pty Ltd 1800 634 307 e-mail sales@upsonic.com.au

Rec Retail $199 + GST.
